Each teach out agreement indicates the proper contacts for the institution specific to that agreement. It would be best to contact the specific institution to seek an answer to your question. If you get stuck, your CUAA academic advisor is happy to help you get in touch with the proper people.

You should contact the school of interest. For those with a teach out or transfer agreement, specific offices/individuals have been provided for you in the agreement itself. Each institution will also have a representative come to campus who can help answer your questions.
Teach out plans are program specific, so you will have to speak with the teach out/transfer institution to determine how your credits will transfer.
If you maintain continuous enrollment as a traditional undergraduate student at CUAA and complete your program, you will receive a diploma that indicates you are a CUAA graduate.
If you enroll as an adult accelerated student to complete your program, you will become a CUW and receive a diploma that indicates you are a CUW graduate.
You are STRONGLY encouraged to maintain continuous enrollment; however, if you decide to take a leave of absence or attend another institution, you cannot be guaranteed a CUAA diploma or the coursework necessary to complete your degree.
The amount of institutional aid, as a full-time undergraduate student, will not change.
The Completion Pathways document details which CUAA programs offer courses that can be completed online. If the program you are enrolled in has an accelerated option, you can complete your coursework online. For any program where there is not an accelerated option, completing coursework online will be based on course modality, not program modality.
You MUST remain a traditional undergraduate student to be billed appropriately. If you seek to enroll strictly as an accelerated program student, your financial aid options will change.
You can live on campus during the 2025-26 academic year and enroll in online courses. You are still held to the same Code of Student Conduct.
You have the option to complete your program on the CUW campus and participate in the sport to which you are committed. You are guaranteed a spot on the roster for the team at CUW, with the exception of ice hockey.
If you plan to complete your program through CUWAA, we ask that you notify your academic advisor by February 1, 2025 so we can best plan for your needs.
No, we did not pursue options for these programs given that they are remaining at CUAA.
You will need to withdraw from the university by completing the Change of Enrollment Survey with your academic advisor.
While you’re not required to tell us where you’re attending following the 2024-25 academic year, it does help with institutional planning. Please let your academic advisor know your plans so we can plan accordingly.
As long as the teach out institution is ready to receive you, you can begin at the teach out institution. You MUST be enrolled by the deadline specified in the teach out agreement to be eligible for the teach out benefits.
A teach out institution is obligated to ensure that the teach out does not result in unexpected increases to a student’s reasonable expectation of total cost of degree. Teach out institutions may package your financial aid differently to meet this obligation.
